About Us

Black Eagle Binders is a homegrown, queer-owned enterprise for high-quality, size-inclusive and affordable clothing to celebrate and affirm the true you. We know that finding gender-affirming, safe, accessible and stylish undergarments is a real challenge in India. Our mission is to change that. 

The first spark for Black Eagle Binders was lit in 2023 when N, a transmasculine social entrepreneur and sports freak, along with some friends in South India, embarked on their transition journeys. Through conversations about body dysphoria they found a glaring gap: it was incredibly difficult to find gender-affirming undergarments in India that offered the ideal blend of style, comfort and freedom of movement. Meanwhile ordering chest binders, packers or tucking underwear from abroad was extremely expensive and unreliable (no guarantee of delivery, size or a return policy).

Two years later, Black Eagle took flight with our line of chest binders for all bodies—and occasions. The response from the community was euphoric!—and told us that we were on the right path. Our launch also opened up many new conversations within the community. In Bangalore, the trans men at Raahi were thrilled about our binders and they also expressed an urgent need was for packers, so they could work and move around in public with confidence and safety. We also spoke to trans women at the Aravani Art Project, who told us they were wearing 4-5 underwears to tuck, with no safe, comfortable or affordable options in the market. We heeded their call—and four months after our chest binders, we launched our line of packers and tucking underwear.

Our products are made from the highest quality materials, keeping in mind India’s tropical weather. Black Eagle undergarments are affordable and delivered in discreet packaging anywhere in India. And we are constantly working to bring new colour and style options based on feedback from our customers.
